Library Tutorials

Library Instruction
Faculty members are encouraged to contact the librarians to discuss library instruction needs. There are many possibilities for library sessions, from quick tours to entire courses structured around library research.

Tours
Faculty members may request a specialized tour in which students would learn the general layout of the library and the locations of materials relevant to their discipline. To set up a tour, please contact the library liaison for your department.

Information Literacy course (ITD 110)
A one-credit Information Literacy credit course is offered on both campuses in an online or face-to-face format. Our Information Literacy course is comprehensive and complies with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education guidelines for information literacy at the Freshman and Sophomore levels.

To learn more about these opportunities or schedule a class, contact your liaison librarian or Amy Pass, Information Literacy Librarian, at passa@sage.edu or 244-3106.
