  • Gale Virtual Reference Library Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of specialized reference sources in Business, Medicine and History.

  • NetLibrary NetLibrary provides access to over 7000 electronic books. When you enter the site from on campus you will see the name of your library in the box on the right side of the screen. Once you have accessed your library's site, you are able to search and view the full text of all the eBooks in your library's eBook collection. To take full advantage of NetLibrary features you should create a free personal account.

  • PsycBooks A full text database created by the American Psychological Association, features more than 500 APA books from 1950-2003.

Publicly Accessible Collections

  • Bartleby.com A collection of literature, nonfiction, and reference on the Web.

  • Harvard University Library Open Collections Program The goal of the program is to increase the availability of historic resources from Harvard's library and museum collections.

    •  Working Women: 1800-1930 Digitized historical, manuscript, and image resources selected from Harvard University's library and museum collections that explore women's roles in the US economy between the Civil War and the Great Depression.

    • Emigration/Immigration: 1789-1930 a new project which will include a comprehensive compilation of legislation, regulations, and government reports that formed the basis of U.S. immigration policy from 1789 to 1930.

  • Google Print view the entirety of public domain books or, for books under copyright, just a few pages or in some cases, only the title’s bibliographic data and brief snippets.
