Overdue Policy

The borrowed item must be returned to the library on or before the due date listed on the book band. If allowed by the lending institution, a renewal request may be submitted at least 4 days before the due date by phone or through a user’s ILLiad account. Overdue e-mail notices will be sent 24 hours after the due date has passed. If a borrowed item is overdue 30 days, it will result in a user being blocked in ILLiad. The user will also be responsible for paying the replacement cost of the borrowed item and a non-refundable $35.00 processing fee. All ILLiad users, including Students, Faculty and Staff will have borrowing privileges suspended until full payment is made on any outstanding overdue ILL invoices.
