Saving Options

Once the document is scanned, choose file, save as,  and then the drive on which to save the document.  Most documents are too large for diskettes, but other saving options are available:

·        D: OR E: Drive (Writeable CD)  At present this option is only available in Troy.  See Saving Document to a CD below.

·        P: Drive (Public Drive)  Appropriate when you want to move the file across the network to another PC.  Be aware, when the file is stored on the Public Drive it can be accessed by everyone on the network.

·        H: Drive (Sagenet Homes Directory)  If you log into the Sage Domain, you may save it to your personal network drive.  In most cases, the machine is not logged into the domain, so you would have to logoff and log back on with your Sagenet user name and password to take advantage of this option.

·        E: OR F: Drive. (Flash Drive)  If you have a flash drive, you can insert it in a USB port and save the file to the flash drive.

·        C: Drive.  If you wish to email the document to yourself, save it to the C: Drive or the My Documents folder.  Once you save it to the C: Drive, you can upload it as an attachment.
