Faculty Judges Needed – 21st Annual Library Research Awards

Faculty Judges Needed!
Faculty volunteers are needed to help honor Russell Sage College students by serving as judges for the 21st Annual Library Research Award, a cash prize awarded for research papers or projects that demonstrate exceptional use of library resources. Each applicant’s work is reviewed by a panel of faculty judges, representing a variety of disciplines, from that student’s school.
Would you be willing to serve? Judges will be asked to review a small number of top-quality papers (judges will have 2 weeks to review the papers) and rank them according to an established rubric.
Scoring will begin on Monday, March 16th. Deadline for returned scores will be Monday, March 30th.
The Russell Sage College Libraries will present the 21st Annual Library Research Award this Spring. Only papers or projects written for courses taken during the Spring, Summer or Fall 2025 semesters are eligible for the award. Four prizes of $200 each will be awarded to the best papers from two undergraduate and two graduate students.
Please encourage your students to enter!
A small amount of your time will help make this award possible! For more information, contact Regina Vertone, Access Services Librarian, at 518-292-1784 or vertor@sage.edu
