“Remembering Carol Ann Donahue: A Story of Love, Loss, and Legacy”

Carol Ann Donahue, whom the Carol Ann Donahue Memorial Fund honors, has been part of the Russell Sage Libraries for decades. Between funding the Rev, establishing the poetry room (and the collection therein) in the Troy library, and countless other ventures, her memory is ingrained in almost everything we do.

But who was Carol Ann Donahue? Recently, Jeremiah Morgan (an editor for the Rev) set out to answer that very question.

In his article Remembering Carol Ann Donahue: A Story of Love, Loss, and Legacy, Jeremiah introduces us to the woman behind the legacy, and seeks to tell the story behind the name that has been such a huge part of RSC Libraries’ history.
