Tips on Finding Statistical Data
Listed at the right are prominent government and civic organization statistical sites-- the United States Census being the most granular (down to the census tract level) for data  on any number of social issues .

Beyond the government sites listed, simply doing a google search on your topic and including the strings  "by state" , "by county", or "by country" will frequently return useful results.

There are many  reliable datasets that contain data on public opinion, behavior etc. While the RSC libraries may not subscribe to these datasets, more often than not the tables from the datasets can be obtained through Interlibrary Loan.

To obtain the tables,  click here to fill out an Interlibrary Loan Request. Include relevant information such as the URL of the where you found the data and the title of data report or table.
