What is the state of gender parity and women leadership in Europe and the United States? In which fields is gender parity most advanced or still to be achieved? On April 21-22, 2022 we will debate women leadership and gender parity in the United States and Europe.
Thursday, April 21 @ 9:30 a.m. (ET) we will welcome Pippa Norris, a comparative political scientist who has taught at Harvard for three decades. She is the Founding Director of the Electoral Integrity Project and the author of fifty books including “Cultural Backlash: Trump, Brexit and the Rise of Authoritarian Populism” (2019). Her research compares election and public opinion, political communications, and gender politics around the world. She is the 2nd most cited political scientist worldwide according to Google Scholar.
Friday, April 22 @ 12:00 p.m. (ET) we will welcome Marjorie Margolies, the first woman ever elected to Congress from Pennsylvania and the first unmarried U.S. citizen to adopt a child internationally. Margolies is the founding President of Women’s Campaign International (WCI), a group that provides advocacy training for women throughout the world.
